	Crashes in DQ rankings from #28 to #56 as revenues fall second year in a row Cuts staff strength by 25%, further trimming soon

It has been a bad two years for this Chennai-based animation services
company. Revenues declined for the second year in a row and the company
plummeted in the rankings from 28 in fiscal 2002 to 56 this time around. Also,
Pentamedia was forced to get rid of almost a fourth of its employees as orders
started drying up. More downsizing is on the anvil–the company is planning to
trim its workforce from 568 to 500 by the end of the ongoing fiscal.
