Pegasystems first India developer conference had over 1,700 attendees

Pegasystems, a  Business Process Management (BPM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) provider, recently organized its Pega Developers Conference 2013 at the Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC). Designed to meet the significant demand for knowledge sharing from the growing community of Pega designers and developers in India, the conference claims to have brought together delegates from some of the world's largest organizations. There were close to 1700 attendees at the conference.
 
The two day conference offers practical immersion in the latest and most advanced features of the Pega Build for Change platform.  It began with keynote presentations by Suman Reddy, vice president and managing director, Pegasystems India; Alan Trefler, founder and CEO; and Mike Pyle Senior Vice President of Engineering.
 
There were different sessions for develpers where the applicability of company's Pega 7 BPM software widely discussed. The conference continued with a customer keynote address by Rachna Bahadur, Managing Director, Global Group manager, Centralized Operations - Information & Services, JPMorgan Chase, Bahadur showed  how JPMorgan Chase is leveraging a Pega-based organization-wide Business Process Management Center of Excellence to support its lines of business.  The next session from Dr. Rob Walker, Vice President of Decision Management and Analytics, and Saleem Abdelsayed, Senior Director of Product Management, addressed the future of customer engagement and how intelligent, omni-channel customer strategies, which leverage predictive analytics and decisioning and mobile platforms, can help significantly improve marketing, sales and service interactions. 
 
The company had created the Technology Pavilion which provided attendees with the ability to learn about new technology and educational offerings from Pega. The opening day of the conference witnessed participation of more than 1,700 delegates from various IT domains such as developers, system integrators, business analysts, project managers from leading IT companies in India.
 
The two day conference has several sessions and learning tracks on current and industry relevant topics, including ‘Aligning Business Applications to Business Objectives', ‘Designing an Elegant User Experience', and ‘How the World's Leading Companies Address Real Business Challenges'  which will provide great insights on the success strategies for global businesses.
