Moser Br, Palador Tie-up



Palador Pictures has tied up with Moser Baer Entertainment to sell and
distribute fifty foreign language film titles in DVD format through the latters

over 2,000 key retail outlets across the country. This deal marks the

partnership between the two biggest players in their respective categories.

Acer India has announced its partnership with ICICI Bank to provide easy

Hungama, PDE Tie-up



Hungama Mobile has signed an agreement with Paramount Digital Entertainment to
localize and distribute Paramount branded mobile and interactive content for the

Indian market. The agreement makes Paramounts wireless and interactive content

available to more than 200 mn Indian subscribers. The primary intent of the

agreement between Paramount Pictures and Hungama Mobile is to combine the

strengths and experiences of each company to deliver advanced technology-based,

interactive and entertaining mobile content.

Berglers European customers. As per the alliance, Cybernet-SlashSupport (CSS)

will provide offshore-based tech support and infrastructure management services

for Berglers European customers from its offshore operations in Chennai.

Nasscom Inks MoU with Securities & Investment Inst



Nasscom has signed an MoU with Securities & Investment Institute (SII) for

Fujitsu, Taiwan-based Institute Sign MoU



Fujitsu and Taiwan-based Institute for Information Industry have signed an

MoU to establish a new company in Taiwan that will develop application platforms

and provide engineering support based on WiMax technology from Fujitsu. The new

JV will develop WiMax application platforms and provide them to ODM vendors in

Taiwan.

Perot Systems Teams With AAPC



Perot Systems has announced that the company has been selected by the

American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) to represent AAPC in South India,

including Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Under the terms of the agreement,

Perot Systems will conduct exams for the Certified Professional Coders,

Certified Professional CodersHospital, Certified Professional CodersPayer

credentials.

Yahoo! India Ties up with Jagran Group



Yahoo! India and the Jagran Group have launched a new co-branded Hindi news

and current affairs Internet property. As per the agreement, Jagran and Yahoo!

India will share graphical and keyword advertising revenue generated by the

property, with Yahoo! India managing the advertising sales and ad serving for

the new co-branded property. Both companies will also partner in distributing

Yahoo! Indias search and small and medium business offerings.

Indian Bank Partners NCR



Indian Bank (IB) has partnered NCR Corporation to launch its first e-ticket

kiosk and portable ATM center at the Egmore Railway Station in Chennai. To

support the banks expansion plans to tap the unbanked rural sector and millions

of individuals who commute by trains, NCR will install and deploy NCRs Personas

ATMs at 156 locations identified by Indian Bank on a turnkey basis, of which 51

units will be deployed at railway stations.

US-based Ranal has formed a strategic alliance with Koltanbar Engineering

Company, another US player in the engineering process development. According to

the agreement, Koltanbar will operate under the management of Ranal and the two

companies will work together to provide end-to-end manufacturing engineering

design services to the international market. Both the firms will continue to

remain separate legal entities and for all purposes will be run as separate

companies.

24X7guru.com and Tata Sky have partnered to offer interactive learning on

television. This partnership will enable 24x7guru.com to provide content for

Tata Skys Actve Learning, a quiz-based educational service covering Maths, GK

and Science for children in the age group of 7-11 years.

Wipro Partners BAE



Wipro Technologies has signed an agreement with BAE Systems on commercial
aerospace projects. According to this agreement, both companies will establish a

technical development center in India to work on projects covering a range of

systems for BAE Systems Platform Solutions in the commercial Aerospace domain.
