RAD, Bharti Teletech Tie up
Bharti Teletech, a provider of telecommunications
services, and RAD Data Communications, have entered into a distribution
partnership for the Indian market. As part of this partnership, Bharti Teletech
would offer a complete range of RADs patented, standards-compliant next
generation network (NGN) solutions for carrier Ethernet access, cellular
backhaul, multi-service access, voice optimization and compression, and VoIP for
Indian customers.
Datacraft Gets Certification from Cisco
Datacraft has achieved Data Center Unified Computing Authorized Technology
Provider (ATP) status from Cisco. This designation recognizes Datacraft as
having fulfilled the training and program prerequisites to sell, deploy and
support the Cisco Unified Computing System in India. Datacraft said it is one of
the first partners in India to achieve this certification, which expands its
relationship with Cisco.
MapmyIndia, Sygic Tie up
MapmyIndia, a map provider, and Sygic, Europes navigation software provider,
have tied up to launch MapmyIndiaSygic Mobile Maps. The new application
converts GPS enabled mobile phones into GPS navigators, allowing seamless travel
anywhere in India. The application, which resides completely on the phone, does
not require GPRS data connection or cellular network to operate. Hence, there
are no hidden or recurring charges for using this application. It works across
the popular and latest GPS phones running Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android, and
iPhone.
Aditi Extends Services
Aditi Technologies, a provider of software product and application development
services, has announced its strategic partnership with Microsoft BioIT Alliance
to extend its services focus into bioinformatics. This will allow players in
this industry to leverage Aditis product development capability, domain
knowledge and practices know how. BioIT Alliance is a confederation of over
thirty organizations working with Microsoft for the proliferation of technology
in bioinformatics.

Symantec, Wipro Tie up for Security Services
Symantec and Wipro have entered into a new partnership under which Wipro
Infotech would offer data loss prevention, and backup and recovery
infrastructure consultancy services based on Symantec technology. The
partnership would offer customers increased visibility into information and a
risk based approach to data security.
Rolta Partners with Infoterra France
Infoterra France, an EADS Astrium subsidiary and a leading provider of
geo-information products and services has signed an agreement with Rolta India.
Infoterras Pixel Factory is based on more than twenty years of Infoterra
experience in the domain of geo-information processing. This photogrammetric
suite is an entirely digital, highly automated production workflow designed to
process high volumes of geographic data while maintaining a superior product
quality. This agreement allows Rolta to augment the capacity of its delivery
centers for photogrammetric processing.
IBS Awarded Contract by Petroleum Development Oman
IBS Software has been awarded a contract by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)
for an IT solution to optimize Passenger Management Services within its
logistics operations. IBS solution will replace the legacy systems currently in
place at PDO, and streamline and centralize passenger movements booking system
within the organization, resulting in increased efficiencies. The implementation
of the ePMS system will automate and manage the movement of people
transportation by air and land. The solution will enable PDO to gain access to a
