EADS Ties-up With L&T

EADS Defence and Security (DS), a systems solutions provider for armed
forces and civil security has announced that it has entered into a long-term
partnership with Indian engineering giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Mumbai, to join
forces in the fields of defence technology. L&T has announced the planned
formation of a joint venture company for defence electronics in India, based in
Talegaon, near Pune.

HCL Partners UTi Worldwide

HCL Technologies, recently announced that UTi Worldwide Inc., a non-asset-based
supply chain services and solutions company, has selected HCL as its strategic
global partner.This expanded partnership will help UTi Worldwide eliminate
redundancies, reduce costs, and improve client services.

HP-Polaris Deal

HP India, a provider in IT services, announced that it has entered into
agreement with Polaris Software Lab, a provider in financial services, to
jointly market and deliver a range of solutions covering software, services and
system integration for businesses in India.

Caringo Partners Vembu

Caringo, a provider of clustered storage software for accessing, storing and
distributing content, and Vembu Technologies, an online backup software
solutions company, will be partnering on a project that will enable customers of
both companies to benefit from Vembu StoreGrids comprehensive data backup
features on top of Caringos CAStor clustered storage solution. Vembu has
integrated StoreGrid with CAStor to deliver an affordable backup solution.

Tata-RTComm Tie-up

Tata Communications has partnered with RTComm, a Russian telecom company, to
provide joint data services between carriers in Russia and the rest of the
world. This partnership enables RTComm to deliver global network services to its
local customers, while Tata Communications will increase its global footprint
with services into this emerging market through RTComms local network.
