Cisco Appoints Compuage
Cisco has appointed Compuage Infocom as one of the national distributors for
its complete range of Linksys by Cisco consumer home networking products. This
new relationship would help to further strengthen Ciscos consumer presence in
India, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Compuage would also help
strengthen Ciscos position in the channel and provide significant opportunities
for the Linksys by Cisco product range.
SumTotal Partners IHRS
SumTotal has entered into a partnership with Integrated HR Solutions (IHRS) to
integrate their healthcare specific job and competency library into its
healthcare solution set for their talent development suite. The partnership
would help IHRS to met regulatory requirements that would further enable solve
the larger issues of aligning workforce to measurable goals, providing career
growth, development opportunities, retaining the competent, conscientious,

Aditya Infotech is Corel Dististributor
Corel has signed on Aditya Infotech as its distributor for the Indian
markets. The partnership would help the entire Corel suite of digital media and
graphics software products reach to the key customers and verticals across
India. The agreement would further ensure that they have presence in key areas
where there has been a growing demand for Corel products.
Microsoft Ties-up with HCL
Microsoft India has partnered with HCL Infosystems to further augment the
availability of Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Essentials (BE). This
partnership will expedite the process of making Microsofts affordable ERP, NAV
BE more extensively available across the country. The new solution would allow
businesses to access a basic set of ERP functionalities including financial,
distribution and sales management, without huge capital investments.
NES Appoints Syntel as ND
NEC India has appointed Syntel Arvind as their national channel partner for
private network solutions (PNS) division, which sells telephony products and
solutions. The product range comprising, Key Telephone Systems/PBX/IP-PBX and
solutions would be introduced by Syntel from April 2009 to its channel partners
and system integrators. The partnership would help NEC to add significant market
share.
HP, IIHT to Launch Software University
IT products and services provider Hewlett-Packard has recently announced the
worldwide launch of HP Software University (HPSU), in partnership with IIHT, a
technology training organization in IMS. Through this program HP is focusing to
train youngsters out of the college in the field of software testing. This
program would enable HP to address the 7 bn software testing market in India and
garner additional profits during slowdown.
YOU Telecom, Atom Tieuo
Atom Technologies has entered into a partnership with YOU Telecom to put to
service the Atom platform for its end customers. This service would enable
end-customers of YOU Telecom to make payments over the phone using credit cards
in a completely automated and secure environment. This IVR based payment
facility will be available for YOU Telecom subscribers in Maharashtra, Gujarat,
Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana (Gurgaon) and Tamil Nadu.
TechPac is Distributor for EMC
EMC has appointed Tech Pacific (an Ingram Micro group company) as its
national distributor. Tech Pacifics appointment would help EMC increase its
national presence and forge mutually beneficial long term partnerships among
Value Added Resellers (VARs) across the country. As EMC looks towards doubling
