The Dell Consumer and Small Business Group in India, led by P. Krishnakumar (KK), who has been recently promoted to Vice President, Consumer & Small Business India, has seen phenomenal growth and share gain, consistently for the last 8 quarters. As Vice President, KK will continue to focus on driving strong customer growth and revenue performance for Consumer & Small Business in India, with the core emphasis on enhancing consumer experience.
KK, as he is commonly known, joined Dell in 2007 and has over 20 years of experience in the consumer and IT industry in both Sales and Marketing roles. In his erstwhile position as Executive Director & General Manager, Consumer and Small Business India (2012 – 2015), he spearheaded the implementation of the company’s consumer strategy to expand its presence across Tier 3-5 cities and deepen PC awareness and penetration through online and offline consumer engagement. Prior to that, he headed Marketing for Dell India, leading campaigns across both commercial and consumer business segments. The award winning Take Your Own Path (TYOP) Campaign by Dell SMB in 2010 was conceptualized and executed under his direction as SMB Marketing Head.
Under his leadership, Dell has grown rapidly in the Indian market, going from 50 to 400 Dell Exclusive Stores in 20 months and channel presence in over 1100 cities across India. With its widespread network of exclusive stores and a few thousand multi-brand and large format stores & resellers espousing its cause to take PC penetration in the country to the next level, Dell is firmly committed to growing its personal computing business. Anticipating the next wave of PC adoption from India’s growth cities, Dell is keen to take both knowledge and access to the consumers, empowering them with greater awareness and understanding on how personal technology can transform their lives.
