OYO appoints Vijay Ghadge as chief business officer of Frontier Businesses for India and South Asia

Vijay will report to Ankit Gupta, COO and SVP, Frontier Businesses, OYO India and South Asia and will work closely with him

OYO Hotels & Homes announced the appointment of Vijay Ghadge as the chief business officer, Frontier Business, India and South Asia. This appointment is in line with the company’s efforts to drive sustainable growth for Frontier Business which comprises of OYO’s self-operated hotels, student housing and co-living and OYO Home businesses.

Vijay is a proven professional with over 20 years of experience and is entrusted with the responsibility to lead the operations excellence for Frontier Businesses in India and South Asia. He will be reporting to Ankit Gupta.

Vijay joins us from OLA where he was part of the India operations and spear-headed OLA'S growth in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities through category and geographical expansion with end to end P&L responsibility. He played an important role in the launch and expansion of Rocket Internet's fashion venture JABONG and built the logistics arm into a separate company to generate USD 100 million business. Previously, he held senior positions at Dr. Reddy's and Ranbaxy Laboratories where he led their international operations and expanded pharmaceutical chemical sales in Europe and the Asia Pacific.
