Orientation Ceremony of ADAM Program at NIET-Greater Noida; in association with Mercedes-Benz

The first orientation ceremony of ADAM- Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics program was held at NIET on Sep 4, 2018. The event was aimed at orienting the students for developing vocational competence that enables students to learn the modern automotive technology and make them skilled personnel in the global market. This unique one-year residential program by Mercedes-Benz Global Training Center in collaboration with Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology, Gr. Noida, focuses more on implementing on the practical methodologies over theoretical concepts that will enhance the skill set of the students in all technological dimensions and will make them industry ready. We are proud to share that students enrolled in this program are from various states, to name a few-Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Kerala, U.P, Bihar, M.P, Rajasthan, etc.  The event was attended by our prestigious guests Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Dealer In-house Trainer-Customer Services, Silver Arrows and Mr Deepankar  Mandola, CMT Certified -System Technician.  In addition, Mr Raman Batra, Executive Vice President – NIET along with the HOD and trainers were present to grace the event.

Mr. Deepankar Mandola, CMT Certified -System Technician through his student-centric approach demonstrated the students about all the modules of ADAM course through his own meaningful learning experiences.

A discussion of “how ADAM course will help the students more effectively to achieve the course’s learning objective and to lead one’s career in automobile sector” was led by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Dealer In-house Trainer-Customer Services, Silver Arrows. He focused on pedagogy based learning for students in order to better meet the needs of the individuals.

Mr. Raman Batra while appreciating the initiative of Mercedes-Benz Global Training Center said that NIET has passed stringent parameters to become one of the few institutes to enter into this collaboration. He highlighted that this collaborative course will enable students to be trained as per the highest standards of modern automotive technology and thereby will bring added synergies between technological innovations and market demands for skilled personnel.
