A new employment announcement was released by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) for the appointment of 391 Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil and Mechanical) positions in Group-A of the Odisha Engineering Service under the Water Resources Department. OPSC job openings are offered by the Government.

What is the age limit for all Applicants?

Age limits: An applicant must be between the ages of 21 and 38. The worthy applicants will, however, be given some leeway.

Educational Qualification required for applying for the AEE (Civil) and AEE (Mechanical) positions

Educational Qualification: Candidates for the AEE (Civil) and AEE (Mechanical) positions must hold a degree in civil engineering or a degree in mechanical engineering, or a degree equivalent, from a university or other institution, recognized by the Government. Also, they must be associate members of the Institution of Engineers of India in either civil or mechanical engineering. 

Technique for Selection: The Commission will take action after receiving the applications. The highest legitimate GATE score from the three years before the advertisement date will be used to select the applicants. (including the year of advertisement).

 The Commission will choose the names of qualified applicants in order of merit, depending on the number of openings in various categories, and propose their appointment to the position of AEEs to the Government after verifying authentic certificates and papers and legitimate GATE scores.

How much is the Submission fee?

Following the GA Department's directive, candidates are not required to submit the assessment fee.
