ONGC Apprentices 2023; Invites Applications for 2500 Vacancies

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is inviting young and talented individuals to engage with the organization as apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 in various disciplines across 21 operational centers of ONGC in the country.

What are the disciplines for ONGC apprentices?

ONGC will recruit candidates as apprentices under various trades or disciplines including

What is the eligibility for ONGC Apprentice?

ONGC has specified some prerequisites for applicants willing to apply for the vacancies and serve the organization with their potential and talent.

Educational Qualification

• 10th or Matriculation passed.
• ITI certificate in concerned trade.
• Any bachelors degree
• Diploma in respective disciplines of Engineering

Age Limit

• Minimum 18 years to 28 years as of 22nd September 2023.
• The date of Birth of the candidate must be between 20/09/1999 and 20/09/2005.
• There is an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwBD categories as per government regulation.

• The candidate has to enter the registration number while applying for apprentice positions on the ONGC website after successfully registering with the aforementioned agencies. Apply online at www.ongcapprentices.ongc.co.in by September 20, 2023.

What is the selection process for ONGC apprentices?

The selection for ONGC apprenticeship would be based on the academic performance of candidates. The selection would be made on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in their 10th/ITI/Diploma/Degree.
In case similar merit is obtained between candidates then the individual with higher age would be considered.
