How did you fare in FY 2012-13? What's your outlook for the current financial year?

Our performance during the last fiscal was strong, and we feel encouraged due to the healthy demand for our broad range of IT products and solutions in the banking and financial services sector. FY2012-2013 has been a significant year as we continued to make solid progress by extending offerings in new markets and focused on strengthening our domain-rich expertise. For the year ending March 2013, our consolidated revenue stood at Rs. 293.76 crore. Our EBITDA for FY13 was Rs 459 million against Rs 355.5 million in the previous year. The company in the last year, continued to retain its status of a debt-free organization with sufficient cash and cash equivalents to meet new strategic initiatives.

We are highly optimistic of our growth performance for the coming months, as Nucleus Software embarks on the road to transformation by further strengthening its operational processes, adopting employee empowerment and co-creation initiatives to sharpen its customer centricity. We strongly believe that we will continue to deliver success in FY2014 and make Nucleus Software a great place to work.

Since core banking is almost a phase over in most of the Indian banks, what are the areas you see more business coming in from?

It is probably not right to say that core banking is over in most of the Indian banks. Some areas which have high potential are - Transaction banking, NBFCs and Mobility solutions. Additionally, we see new banking licenses being issued in India and collectively these would certainly generate more business opportunities in the future.

Who are your customers? Please share Indian names.

We have customers across the globe but as a policy, we do not provide the names of our customers.
