NTPC recruitment 2022 for engineers is being conducted through GATE 2021 scores for 40 new Engineering Executive Trainee vacancies. The selected candidates will initially undergo training at various places, and the final place of posting will be decided after the completion of training. Candidates could be placed anywhere across the country in any of the projects or stations of NTPC. Those selected will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 40,000 to 1,40,000.

Who Can Apply for NTPC Recruitment 2022 for Engineers?

The latest NTPC recruitment notification says that there are 40 new vacancies for which candidates with a full time bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology namely BE or BTech or AMIE with not less than 65 percent marks as per the respective institute or university norms an apply. However, SC, ST, and PwBD category students with 55 percent marks can apply for the vacancies. Applicants should have also appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering in 2021, and their performance in that exam will be taken into consideration for selection.
