NTPC recruitment 2021 is currently underway for women engineers for 50 Executive Trainee vacancies. NTPC had recently announced that it would be conducting a special recruitment drive for female graduate engineers. Applicants need to have valid and relevant GATE 2021 scores, and those selected will be paid a basic salary of Rs 40,000 on the pay scale of up to Rs 1,40,000.
Who can Apply for NTPC Recruitment 2021?
The official notification issued on the NTPC website says that there are a total of 50 vacancies for which women engineers with GATE scores in paper codes EE, ME, EC and IN from the following engineering streams can apply:

Selected candidates will initially undergo one-year of training at NTPC units after which their place of posting will be decided, says the notification. Candidates will have to work in shifts including night shifts.
How to Apply for NTPC Recruitment 2021?
Eligible candidates will have to submit online applications on the ntpccareers.net website before 6 May 2021. The GATE 2021 registration number will be needed to apply for the vacancies, and applicants will also have to upload their photographs and signatures. There is no registration fee involved as female candidates are exempt from paying application fees in NTPC.
