NTPC recruitment 2020 is now being conducted to engage engineering graduates as apprentice trainees at the coal mining region of NTPC Limited. After the apprenticeship training, candidates may also be allocated their final place of posting in Coal Mining Projects. However, at present, selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 2 years at various NTPC Coal Mining sites and will be paid a stipend of Rs 24,000 per month.
Who can Apply for NTPC Recruitment 2020?
The official notification available on the NTPC website says that candidates with a diploma in engineering from the following streams may apply against the respective vacancies:

| Electrical | Full time regular diploma in electrical or electrical and electronics engineering with minimum 70% marks | 12 |
| Mechanical | Full time regular diploma in mechanical or production engineering with minimum 70% marks | 10 |
| Mine Survey | Full time regular diploma in mine survey, diploma in mining engineering or diploma in mining and mine surveying with minimum 70% marks | 8 |
Applicants should not be over 25 years of age, and all qualifications should be from Indian Institutes recognized by BTE, AICTE or appropriate statutory authority.
How to Apply for NTPC Recruitment 2020?
Interested and eligible candidates would be required to apply online on the official NTPC Careers website from 23 November to midnight of 12 December 2020. Also, candidates belonging to General, OBC or EWS category are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 300. However, SC, ST, PwBD, XSM and female candidates need not to pay the registration fee.
