NML recruitment 2021 will soon be conducted through walk-in-interviews and written tests at CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur. The laboratory is known for metallurgy and materials research, back-up by a substantial share of research publications in peer-reviewed journals and intellectual property products generated in metallurgical and materials science and technology. Those selected for graduate apprentice vacancies will be paid Rs 12,000 per month, and those selected for technician apprentice vacancies will be paid Rs 8000.

Who Can Apply for NML Recruitment 2021?

The latest NML recruitment notification issued on the MHRDNATS website says that there are 19 vacancies out of which 6 are for graduate engineers and 13 are for diploma engineers. The educational qualifications required for the vacancies are four years regular engineering degree for graduate apprentices and three years’ full-time diploma for technician apprentices from the following streams:

  • Mechanical engineering.
  • Metallurgy.
  • Electrical engineering.
  • Electronics engineering.
  • Chemical engineering.
  • Civil engineering.
  • Computer Science and IT.

General category candidates must have 60% or more marks; reserved category candidates must have 50% or more marks. Also, only candidates who have obtained their degree or diploma from 2019 to 2021 are eligible to apply. Furthermore, applicants should not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 or 1973 as amended from time to time.

How to Apply for NML Recruitment 2021?

Eligible candidates will have to appear for a walk-in interview on 1 November 2021. The candidate must have an active email ID and mobile number, which must be valid for at least the next year, and candidates must also have their Aadhaar card.
