NIOS Result 2021

NIOS result 2021 has been announced for students of classes 10 and 12 who took examinations from January to February 2021. However, a section of students claims that their results are not accurate as they have got an “SYCT” as the results display “ABSENT” for examinations they have attended. Several such students have been sharing posts on social media requesting for revaluation of results.

One such student, on the condition of anonymity, approached Dataquest saying his results have been wrongly displayed on the NIOS website. “I have been marked absent for an exam I have attended, because of which I have got an SYCT (Subject yet to be cleared in Theory) in my marks card. How is this even possible? I have even signed my attendance sheet. Authorities can check,” said the student.

Dataquest is in the receipt of his mark sheet, and the student claims to have attended all his examinations. “There is no option where I can request for revaluation. I don’t know what I must do. So I’m approaching the nodal NIOS centre to talk to authorities,” he said. Apart from this student, several other examinees have taken to social media to report erroneous results.

“Dear Team, I have appeared in the month of February 2021 but my result is not showing. So kindly guide me on this. Looking forward to hearing back,” says Rohan Ghosh, an NIOS student. “Please, somebody help me. I did not get my practical marks. Instead of marks, I got absent. What shout I do?” asks Rahul Rana.

“I gave my practical examination in January 2021, but in result, it has been written Absent. Can anyone give me a solution for this?” asks another student. “My daughter had written biology paper 314. But the result has not been published. This is a big trauma for the student. Whom should I contact to sought this issue?” asks a parent Pradeep Narayanan.

Nevertheless, there has been no official word or response from the National Institute of Open Schooling on the matter so far. Until then, students are advised to get in touch with their respective NIOS centres for more clarity on the matter and for resolution.
