NIET becomes India’s first Institute to bag the Diamond Subject Rating in Engineering

NIET- Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, the first private institute in Uttar Pradesh to get Autonomous status by UGC has achieved another milestone by becoming one of the very few private institutions in the country to have received a status of being awarded with “DIAMOND SUBJECT RATING IN ENGINEERING” by QS I Gauge Subject rating.

Thereby making NIET Northern India’s first Institute to bag the Diamond Subject Rating in Engineering on 23rd March, 2021 for a period of two years by QS I Gauge.

NIET has successfully bagged Diamond Rating and has once again positioned itself on top in the broad spectrum of learning through rigorous, independent data collection and analysis against performance metrics as set out in the subject ratings methodology.

NIET had also earlier received QS IGAUGE E-LEAD Certification for Excellence in Online Education. QS I Gauge is a custom designed rating system for universities and colleges in India which provides academic institutions to effectively benchmark their performance with reference to key indicators and further lays down developmental roadmap for upgrading their educational services.

Institution’s scorecard gives you a concise overview of every Institution’s performance with respect to each indicator that was assessed in the audit.

Ashwin Fernandes, CEO of QS IGAUGE congratulated NIET, Greater Noida for having achieved this milestone. He further said that QS IGAUGE is a custom designed rating system for universities and colleges in India which provides academic institutions to effectively benchmark their performance on the basis of various indicators like Technology/ Engineering Ecosystem, Specialized infrastructure for Tech Innovation, Awards and Accolades, Research Centre, Sustainable Technology, facilities in the institute, faculty student ratio and also overall student and alumni satisfaction.
