NIC Recruitment 2020: Online Application Date for 495 Vacancies Extended, Salary up to Rs 1,77,500

Online applications for NIC Recruitment 2020 for engineers, which was being conducted for 495 Scientist B and Scientific or Technical Assistant A vacancies, has now been extended until 30 April 2020 in view of the COVID-19 situation in the country. However, candidates need to note that although the online application date has been extended, the eligibility conditions with respect to cut off date for age, qualification and experience for applying for both the posts will remain unchanged, which is 26 March 2020.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) is a prestigious government body under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) involved in building e-Government or e-Governance applications. And as far as the 207 Scientific or Technical Assistant A vacancies are concerned, candidates with a BE, BTech, MSc, MS, or MCA in Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, Computer and Networking Security, Software System, Information Technology, or Informatics can apply.
