NHPC Recruitment 2021: Engineers and Technicians Can Apply for Apprentice Vacancies, Stipend up to Rs 10,605

NHPC recruitment 2021 is being conducted for new graduate, diploma and technician apprentice vacancies at Loktak Power Station

NHPC recruitment 2021 is currently underway for new graduate, diploma and technician apprentice vacancies available at Loktak Power Station, a unit of NHPC Limited. Selected candidates will be engaged under the under the Apprentice Act, 1961 for a period of one year. During the training period, a stipend of Rs 9000 will be paid for Graduate Apprentices, Rs 8,000 will be paid for Diploma or Technician Apprentices, and Rs 10,605 will be paid to ITI candidates every month.

Who Can Apply for NHPC Recruitment 2021?

The latest NHPC recruitment notification says that for the graduate and technician apprentice vacancies, candidates with a 4 years degree or 3 years diploma from any recognised institution from the following streams can apply:

• Electrical engineering.
• Mechanical engineering.
• Civil engineering.
• Electronics and communication engineering.
• IT or computer operator-cum-programming assistant.

The applicant who will be completing 3 years 3 months after having passed the qualifying degree or diploma as on 1 January 2022 and who have acquired prior training or experience for more than one year are not eligible to apply under this notification.

For the technician vacancies, candidates who have passed 10th Class under the 10 plus 2 system of education or its equivalent along with ITI examination passed status from a recognised institution in the following trades as per Apprentice Act, 1961 can apply:

• Electrician.
• Lineman or wireman.
• Power electrician.
• Fitter.
• Machnist.
• Instrument mechanic.
• Mechanic or motor vehicle.
• Plumber.
• Mason or building constructor.
• Carpenter.

The applicant should have completed minimum age of 14 years as on 1 January 2022, and the who have acquired prior training or experience for more than one year and the candidates who have absconded previous apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply, says the notification.
