NHPC apprentice recruitment 2022 is now being conducted for 9 new apprentice vacancies for which candidates with an ITI can apply. The selection of apprentice trainees will be on the basis of the marks secured in ITI, those selected will be engaged for a period of one year. “The Apprentice Trainees shall have no claim, whatsoever, as to any extension of training and/or employment in NHPC Limited,” adds the notification. Candidates selected as apprentice trainees will be paid a stipend as per Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

Who Can Apply for NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2022?

The latest NHPC apprentice recruitment notification says that there are 9 new vacancies for which candidates who are 10th pass and have an ITI in the following trades can apply:

Candidates who are awaiting results need not apply, says the notification. Applications from candidates, who have already undergone Apprenticeship Training, will be rejected. The notification also adds that reservation of seats for SC, ST, and OBC (non creamy layer) will be as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the rules framed there under. 

How to Apply for NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2022?

Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit online application on the website www.apprenticeshipindia.org is 20 February 2022. After completion of online activities, all selected candidates will be required to report at Chandigarh office of NHPC at 10:00 AM on 2 March 2022.
