NHAI internship 2021 for engineers is being conducted on the AICTE internship portal for 134 internship opportunities with the National Highways Authority of India at various locations in Karnataka such as Bengaluru, Dharwad, Mangaluru, Chitradurga, Kalburgi, and Hospet among others. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of two months, and should have the relevant skills and interests. Selected candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs 5000.
Selected interns will get to learn the latest trends in the highways and transportation sector with a common objective of sharing knowledge in their respective domains. “This will, on one hand, facilitate to bridge the industry institution gap and familiarize students with the latest trend in Industry and on the other hand the research output could be suitably adopted in practice by NHAI,” says the website. Interns will be expected to contribute towards the functioning of NHAI by way of their inputs such as empirical analysis, briefing reports, papers, research through data and feedback collected during field visits.

- Students pursuing BE or BTech in engineering.

Important Guidelines for NHAI Internship 2021 in Karnataka
- The terms of engagement will be as per NHAI Handbook and NHAI Guidelines.
- Interns should maintain a minimum of 75% attendance during their internship and in case of less than 75% attendance, no extension of internship period will be allowed and no experience certificate will be issued.
- The attendance record and the details of work supervision will be maintained by the respective heads of the divisions.
- All the interns will have to abide by the work rules and ethics set by NHAI
- Interns will have to arrange for their own laptops and accommodation.
- At the end of the Internship, the student will be required to submit a copy of the project report to their controlling or reporting officer in NHAI.
