NHAI internship 2021 for engineers is being conducted on the AICTE internship portal for 5000 internship opportunities with the National Highways Authority of India at various locations such as New Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana and Punjab. Selected candidates will be available for a period of two months, and should have the relevant skills and interests. Selected candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs 5000.

Apart from the stipend, a certificate regarding the successful completion of the Internship will be issued under the signatures of the concerned controlling officer, where the interns are deployed. The selected interns will be  expected to contribute in the functioning of NHAI by way of their inputs such as empirical analysis, briefing reports, papers, research through data and feedback collected during field visits, says the official website.

Who Can Apply for NHAI Internship 2021?

The NHAI internship opportunity, which aims at providing learning opportunities to young talent, is open to the following candidates:

  • Students pursuing graduation, post-graduation or research in civil engineering from AICTE affiliated Institutions or any recognized university or institution within India and are currently in the final year or pre-final year or semester of their course.
  • Applicants should have obtained overall 70% marks or equivalent grade in all the previous yearly or semester examinations without any backlogs or re-appears of any subjects.
  • Applicants should be available for a period of two months.

Important Guidelines for NHAI Internship 2021

  • Applicants will have to produce a letter from their supervisor, HOD or principal indicating their status in the institution and ‘No Objection’ certificate in order to allow students to pursue their internship.
  • Interns should maintain a minimum of 75% attendance during their internship and in case of less than 75% attendance, no extension of internship period will be allowed and no experience certificate will be issued.
  • At the end of the Internship, the student will be required to submit a copy of the project report to their controlling ot reporting officer in NHAI.
  • Interns will have to arrange for their own laptops and accommodation.

How to Apply for AICTE Internship 2021?

Students interested to apply for this opportunity will have to do so on the official website before 30 September 2021. Applicants will first have to register with the TULIP portal by providing institute name, student Id, email ID, mobile number, and so on. Once registered, students may log in using their email Id and password to apply for the internship.
