Can you give an overview of emerging technologies you have deployed?

We have worked on various SMAC technologies, have developed Mobile Apps for Android and iOS and also developed cloud applications on MVC, Angular tec.

Which are the functions/departments in your organization that is starting first with the emerging technologies?

Sales and Business Development function use a Lead Management System which is Cloud based and also a Mobile app using  native Mobile tech. The sales teams have immensely benefited from this tech. Our IT team has automated a lot of process for our HR with automated search of resumes.

How will emerging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, IOT, Big Data, Augmented Reality, Analytics etc. will change the fabric of IT organizations

All these new Technologies clubbed as SMAC will change the IT Organizations drastically. Employees will have freedom to work from anywhere.The employee population will go down drastically and also project cycles will be very short. The average tenure of an employee will come down to 3-5 yrs from the current 5-10 yrs. Machines and Apps will do the basic tasks e.g. IBM’s Watson Supercomputer does a lot of task to help and service their employees.

Emerging tech best practices and deployment strategies

First and foremost best practice in a tech deployment is the user buy-in, unless user is not on our side any tech deployment will fail, then comes the process mapping as per the user needs. Then Tech selection and the people(The team) who would actually work on that tech deployment. Also periodic review and feedback from Stakeholders is a must to ensure we are on the right track and the end product is as envisaged.
