A subsidiary of Srei Infrastructure Finance, Srei Sahaj bagged the contract
to provide electoral photo ID cards in 187 assembly constituencies across
fourteen districts in West Bengal. It introduced railway and air ticketing
facilities for the rural populace from its Tathya Mitra Kendras. Meanwhile, the
West Bengal State Electricity Board authorized Sahaj CSCs in all fourteen
project districts to collect domestic bills from rural households. The company
also opened more than 1,400 Jan Seva Kendras across twenty-four districts of
Uttar Pradesh, catering to more than 22 lakh rural families.
