It was the year of the Eee PC for Asus; it pioneered this new segment called
netbooks and others followed suit. Over the year, Asus concentrated on
perfecting the Eee PC and launched better and more functional models like Eee PC
1000H and 904HD. Not just netbooks, Asus also launched premium notebooks such as
Lamborghini VX3 which elevated its stature in the Indian systems space. Even as
Asus became more mainstream with Eee PC, it continued to bring new, innovative
and environment-friendly products like the Bamboo PC.
