Zoho launches Projects Plus: AI-powered project management platform

Zoho, a technology company headquartered in Chennai, has launched Projects Plus, an advanced project management platform aimed at mid-sized and large enterprises.

Projects Plus integrates four key Zoho applications—Projects, WorkDrive, Analytics, and Sprints—to offer a seamless, AI-powered, data-driven project management experience. The platform enables better collaboration, predictive analytics, and hybrid project management, allowing organizations to manage complex workflows more efficiently.

The official launch was announced on March 11, 2025. Zoho is rolling out Projects Plus globally, with a special focus on India, its fastest-growing market for project management solutions.

Zoho Projects has seen 41% year-on-year growth in India and a three-fold increase in migration from third-party apps like Microsoft Project and JIRA. With 55% of new users coming from competitor platforms, Zoho recognized the need for a more unified and intelligent project management tool that caters to the complexities of modern enterprises.

Projects Plus enhances project execution in four key areas:

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Using Zoho’s business intelligence tools, users can track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource allocation.
• AI-Powered Insights: Integrated with Zia, Zoho’s AI engine, the platform offers predictive analysis to estimate project timelines, assess risks, and improve efficiency.
• Hybrid Project Management: Supports both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, making it flexible for enterprises handling multiple project types.
• Collaboration & Security: Seamlessly integrates with Zoho apps, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and third-party software, ensuring data privacy and compliance.

According to Zoho CEO Mani Vembu, the platform is designed to meet evolving enterprise needs by combining AI-driven analytics, real-time project tracking, and enhanced security.
