Winsted, a world leader in control room furniture, has introduced Emergent, a new console innovation for public safety and emergency calling professionals, including call responders, and control room operators at operations centres. Emergent will officially be unveiled at APCO 2025 in Baltimore, USA, from July 27 to 30, 2025 - the premier public safety conference.event of the year for public safety personnel.

It is developed with the help of frontline emergency telecommunicators. It is designed to accommodate operator wellbeing, reduce fatigue, and assist with rapid decision-making during high-demand situations (e.g., natural disasters, tracking a crime, or coordinating an emergency response).
