UST has announced a series of multi-year agreements worth more than USD 2 billion with three major healthcare enterprises, signalling a decisive leap in the company’s healthcare technology ambitions. The partnerships position UST at the forefront of digital transformation in the sector, emphasising AI-driven innovation, automation, and personalised patient experiences.

A data-first approach to healthcare modernisation

These engagements deepen UST’s footprint in healthcare, where the company is leveraging its expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), analytics, and platform engineering to redefine how insurers and healthcare providers deliver care. Through its UST Evolve platform and other proprietary technologies, the company aims to bring more efficiency and human-centred design into traditionally rigid systems.

UST’s work includes reimagining the Third-Party Administrator (TPA) landscape, offering agile, scalable solutions to health insurers seeking faster product rollouts and reduced operational overhead. The company is also investing heavily in infrastructure and innovation hubs to strengthen its healthcare delivery frameworks.

AI meets patient personalisation

In one of the cornerstone collaborations, UST is unlocking insights from data covering over 70 million insured individuals. This initiative uses AI to help healthcare payers identify savings, improve patient satisfaction, and cut administrative inefficiencies. Another project involves automating key stages in the software development lifecycle, resulting in faster innovation cycles and improved digital reliability.

Anand Nair, Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences at UST, said, “We are proud to be at the forefront of healthcare transformation at this scale. Through these strategic partnerships, we enable clients to move beyond legacy models, deploying data intelligence, automation, and design thinking to deliver more efficient systems and better health outcomes.”

Kailash Attal, Chief Solutions Officer, UST, added, “Our healthcare strategy is grounded in personalisation with a purpose. Using our Design for Happiness approach and data platforms, we are helping healthcare payers move from generic engagements to individualised experiences, improving outcomes for patients while driving performance for the business.”
