As businesses continue to shift to multicloud infrastructure to boost agility and innovation, the complexity of securing these diverse environments has increased. Tech Mahindra’s new service addresses this challenge by leveraging Cisco’s Hybrid Mesh Firewall and Multicloud Defense, which provides centralized, SaaS-based protection for workloads across public and private clouds.

The solution is designed to block external threats, limit lateral movement within networks, and prevent data exfiltration, all through a single, integrated control plane. By eliminating the need for fragmented point solutions, the platform offers a simplified, cost-effective approach to cloud security.

Kunal Purohit, President – Next Gen Services at Tech Mahindra, said that the partnership is aimed at helping businesses manage the growing complexity of cloud security while focusing on their core innovation goals. “We are committed to providing a secure and seamless cloud experience for our customers,” he said.

The managed service will offer 24/7 monitoring, centralized policy management, and automated threat detection, supported by Tech Mahindra’s global cybersecurity teams. It is built for scalability and can adapt to the specific needs of large and growing enterprises.

According to Shannon Leininger, Vice President of Global Partner Sales at Cisco, the integration extends the reach of Cisco’s Multicloud Defense by pairing it with Tech Mahindra’s delivery capabilities. “This partnership will empower customers to strengthen their cybersecurity posture amid today’s complex security landscape,” she said.

The collaboration also expands Tech Mahindra’s security service portfolio and supports internal workforce development. The company launched a dedicated Cisco Business Unit in 2023, positioning itself to deliver hybrid, secure, and network-integrated solutions to global clients. The new offering is expected to further enhance its presence in key markets across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
