Tech Data and Dell Technologies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch the Dell AI Factory in India. This initiative is aimed at driving artificial intelligence (AI) adoption across industries by offering comprehensive products, solutions, and services tailored for seamless AI integration.
The Dell AI Factory will feature a Centre of Excellence (CoE), showcasing use cases and product demonstrations. The collaboration also involves partnering with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to provide pre-validated, end-to-end AI solutions. These solutions combine Dell’s advanced hardware and specialised software to simplify AI deployment for partners, empowering them to cater to evolving market demands effectively.
Tech Data’s Destination AI™ program will further support partners with training, technical guidance, and pre- and post-sales services, accelerating their AI readiness and fostering sustainable growth.
The MoU was signed by Sundaresan K., Vice President and Country General Manager, Tech Data Advanced (India) Private Limited, and Vivek Malhotra, Senior Director & General Manager, India Channels, Dell Technologies, at an event in Mumbai on 19 November 2024.
Sundaresan noted that India’s AI market presents significant opportunities for channel partners. “The Dell AI Factory, combined with our Destination AI™ program, equips partners with the advanced tools they need to meet growing demand and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions.”
Dell’s Vivek Malhotra highlighted the initiative’s role in simplifying technology adoption. “Our collaboration with Tech Data underscores our commitment to innovation. The Dell AI Factory equips partners with robust tools to address diverse industry challenges and unlock growth in the AI era.”
As part of the initiative, Tech Data plans to onboard additional ISVs to enhance the Dell AI Factory’s adaptability to industry-specific needs, creating a more robust AI ecosystem.
