Freshworks, a leading provider of customer and employee experience solutions, announced today the appointment of Murali Swaminathan as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Swaminathan joins Freshworks with over 30 years of experience in software engineering and management, poised to lead the company's technology roadmap and global engineering teams.

Throughout his career, Swaminathan has held leadership positions at industry giants like ServiceNow, Recommind (now OpenText), and CA Technologies (now part of Broadcom). At ServiceNow, he played a key role in building the company's market-leading IT Service Management and Strategic Portfolio Management products.

Swaminathan holds a master's degree in Software Engineering Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's degree in electronics and instrumentation from Annamalai University in India.
