Sify has launched South India’s largest AI-ready data center campus in Siruseri, Tamil Nadu, marking a significant step forward in India’s digital infrastructure expansion. Designed to support next-generation digital workloads, the campus offers a planned capacity of 130 MW, with features tailored for AI, cloud computing, and high-performance data processing.

Built with a platinum rating from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), the data center underlines Sify’s commitment to sustainability. It incorporates energy-efficient architecture and aims to eventually run entirely on renewable energy. The facility also features smart building management systems to minimize environmental impact while maintaining operational excellence.

Strategically located near Chennai’s technology corridor, the Siruseri campus is the only data center in India with an on-site open cable landing station, significantly enhancing global network connectivity and reducing latency. This makes it a crucial asset for global enterprises looking to deploy AI and data-driven applications at scale in India.

Raju Vegesna, Chairman & Managing Director of Sify Technologies, said the development aligns with India’s growing demand for hyperscale infrastructure. “This facility isn’t just about capacity—it’s about enabling the future of digital transformation across industries,” he said.
