Salesforce has reported another solid year of expansion in India. Its latest filing with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs shows FY25 revenue at Rs 13,384.5 crore, up 47% from the previous year. The surge highlights growing demand for data-first and AI-heavy platforms across Indian industries.

The company now employs more than 14,000 people across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and Jaipur. Leaders say India remains one of its quickest-growing markets worldwide as firms step up investments in digital systems.

Agentic Enterprise vision picks up pace

The past year marked a shift in how Indian businesses use Salesforce. Instead of experimenting with small AI pilots, many have begun scaling agentic systems across functions. This approach, centered on human-AI collaboration, is at the core of Salesforce’s strategy for the decade ahead.

A major driver is Agentforce 360, a new platform that brings together apps, data, metadata, and AI agents under one umbrella. Thousands of Indian customers are already using it to improve workflows and track measurable returns.

Salesforce says this broader adoption positions it to guide companies as they lean into agentic models for customer management, service, sales, and internal operations.

Large Indian customers step up their AI bets

Companies such as Air India, Tata Play, Tata Consumer Products, and Bandhan Bank have expanded their Salesforce usage. Many of them are using AI agents to assist frontline teams, build new revenue streams, and simplify daily tasks.

Rajesh Gopal, Global Chief Digital Officer at Tata Consumer Products, said businesses are navigating a fast-moving landscape shaped by AI and automation. He noted that leaders are investing in systems that support employee productivity and keep pace with customer expectations.

Building skills and community support

Salesforce’s presence in India extends beyond enterprise software. Its Trailblazer community in India has grown to 3.9 million members, one of the largest worldwide. This network not only supports users but also influences new developers and early-career tech talent.

In 2025 alone, Salesforce reports that about 75,000 learners took part in its local skilling efforts, many of them focused on digital and AI-related training.

The company also highlighted its community initiatives. To date, Salesforce employees have volunteered more than 664,000 hours, while nonprofits and higher-education institutions in India have received donations worth over $10 million. More than 800 such organizations now use Salesforce’s tools at no cost.

Leadership underscores India’s role

Arundhati Bhattacharya, President and CEO of Salesforce South Asia, said the strong numbers reflect the trust Indian enterprises place in the company. She noted that India has the talent and ambition to lead the next phase of AI-driven progress. Her message centered on using technology with purpose and helping businesses prepare for the future through agentic models.
