QualiZeal, a digital quality engineering company based in the U.S. and India, has announced a new generative AI-based software application called QMentisAI that can be used to accelerate the process of testing software. The company claims that the application can reduce the time spent on testing by as much as 60% while achieving approximately 95% accuracy.
QMentisAI combines generative AI with human intervention to improve and automate primary software quality engineering activities, including requirements analysis, test design and test automation. For example, it offers 18 capabilities including user story refinement, defect report writing, and test automation scripting.
It is designed to address recurring issues that exist in the area of quality engineering, such as inconsistent quality of user stories, manual effort to create test scripts, limited or poor documentation of bugs, difficulty in coordinating globally distributed teams, etc. In terms of functionality, it is a combination of natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), an agentic AI architecture and human-in-the-loop validation to ensure the responses are reliable and contextual.
Recently, QMentisAI was awarded the 2025 Indian GenAI Quality Excellence Platform—Best Practices Award by research house Frost & Sullivan. The research firm stated that the platform design facilitates the speed and reliability of software delivery, which is in alignment with a macro industry focus on integrating generative ai across the software development lifecycle.
Pradeep Govindasamy, CEO of QualiZeal, has said that QMentisAI is designed to be industry-agnostic and scalable with capabilities such as synthetic data generation, risk mitigation assessment, performance assurance, and security testing. Over the next few months, the platform will be extended into all aspects of root-cause analysis and accessibility compliance testing.
The company claims that QMentisAI will help eliminate approximately 80% of manual effort in the areas of test case design and defect documentation. Additionally, the program is positioned to enhance collaboration across Agile teams, which may be difficult when time-sensitive tasks create disjointed workflow.
QualiZeal is also using QualiCentral QE management platform, which has clients in virtually every industry, and the company has received accolades from industry analysts including Forrester, Everest Group, and NelsonHall. The firm received the "Fastest Growing Tech Company of the Year" from the 2025 American Business Awards.
