Optiemus Unmanned Systems Pvt. Ltd. (OUS), a subsidiary of Optiemus Infracom Limited has announced strategic collaboration with KunWay Technology from Taiwan to manufacture and locally source one spectrum of drones in India.
The partnership reflects the dedication of both these companies to bolster India’s Make in India movement and push India's blossoming drone industry on the issue of Defence as well homeland security.
As part of the deal OUS will set up manufacturing and distribution in India for KunWay’s products using its own state of the art facilities in Noida.
It also provides a gateway to future off-the-shelf expansion into KunWay’s wider product-stack, as per this partnership. The announcement is in-line with the Indian government recent stand of declaring 2025 as “Year of Reform” in defence sector which further underscores the importance for this tie up.
