NTT DATA announced its acquisition of EXAH, a Salesforce Consulting Partner and AI specialist. The deal, announced on 3 October 2025, significantly strengthens NTT DATA's ability to provide end-to-end Salesforce and AI delivery for clients across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
The move adds EXAH’s technical skills and history of customer-focused Salesforce projects to NTT DATA’s established presence. This strategy directly addresses the company's objective of expanding cloud-based customer engagement capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem across the MEA region.
Salesforce represents a central part of NTT DATA's strategy. It gives clients a consolidated view of customer data, enabling tailored customer experiences and efficient service. Integrating AI with Salesforce further aids business operations by automating routines, predicting customer actions, and informing better decisions.
NTT DATA holds a long-standing relationship with Salesforce, spanning over two decades and totalling more than 3,500 projects worldwide. The company's expertise is visible through four consecutive Salesforce Partner Innovation Awards. This acquisition focuses on delivering solutions relevant to local markets and strengthening NTT DATA’s position in the region.
Alan Turnley-Jones, CEO of NTT DATA in the Middle East and Africa, said EXAH’s experts and strong standing within the Salesforce partner community make the firm a suitable addition. He emphasised the plan to combine EXAH’s skill set with NTT DATA’s worldwide reach and partnerships to deliver value and help clients increase customer engagement and drive business growth.
Tiaan le Roux, Managing Director of EXAH, stated the company is proud to join NTT DATA’s global team to further increase value for clients and partners across the African market.
Turnley-Jones pointed out that system connectivity remains critical in modern technology. The EXAH acquisition follows the company’s 2023 purchase of Apisero, a global MuleSoft consulting firm. That earlier purchase aimed to connect clients’ technology across voice, digital, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) channels. The EXAH deal now further develops Salesforce expertise across the entire project lifecycle, from initial setup to long-term support, ensuring local assistance for clients.
Bringing EXAH into the organisation also creates opportunities for career advancement and skill development within NTT DATA, particularly in Salesforce and related technologies. This aligns with a recent initiative by NTT DATA to start a young talent program, focusing on developing new Salesforce skills and mentoring future experts at a foundational level.
NTT DATA, which reports revenues exceeding USD 30 billion and serves 75% of the Fortune Global 100, aims to utilise this blend of global background and in-country expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions and high-quality customer service in the MEA region.
