This new investment marks India as a critical location for development in Nextiva’s global roadmap. India’s contribution is already significant in Nextiva’s journey with local workforce doubling in 2024, and the company is aggressively scaling its talent base to support rapid product innovation. The company also plans to hire over 150 new employees this year alone.

“The next era of customer experience technology is being built in India,” said Tomas Gorny, Co-founder and CEO of Nextiva. “This isn’t just about expansion, it’s about acceleration. Our teams here are building foundational AI technologies that will redefine how businesses connect with their customers globally.”

Nextiva’s Bengaluru hub will be the company’s largest outside the United States, powering core elements of its Unified-CXM platform, which currently handles over 10 billion customer interactions annually across more than 100,000 global businesses.

The new facility will anchor Nextiva’s AI Innovation Hub, focusing on developing vertical-specific CX solutions for industries like healthcare and financial services.

The Bengaluru expansion also formalises the full integration of Simplify360, the AI-powered, social-first CX platform acquired by Nextiva in 2023. Now operating entirely under the Nextiva brand, Simplify360 brings strong multichannel and AI expertise to Nextiva’s global offering.

“By partnering with Simplify360, we accelerated our roadmap, gaining immediate access to a unified digital channel platform,” Tomas said. “It allowed us to expand faster, innovate quicker, and deliver better value to customers across every channel they use.”

Nextiva mentions it is already a trusted partner for many of India’s enterprises, including Tata Play, ITC, Xiaomi, Cred, ICICI Bank, Oppo, Meesho, and ZEE5.

Tomas elaborated it by saying, "While we are building for the global market, Indian enterprises are at the forefront of adopting our Unified-CXM innovations. Our solutions are not only tech enablers, they become trusted advisory engines, helping enterprises embed AI, RPA, and automation into their operations.”

Additionally, while Nextiva’s platforms are currently deployed across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, the company views India and Southeast Asia as critical growth markets. The new Bengaluru facility will play a crucial role in supporting clients across these regions with customized AI-driven solutions and local expertise.
