NatWest Group India has announced the opening of a new office in Bengaluru, marking a significant milestone in the bank’s ongoing expansion in the country. Located in Taurus 4 at Bagmane Constellation Business Park, the facility reflects NatWest’s investment in India’s technology and talent ecosystem, particularly in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), data, and engineering.

This development further strengthens Bengaluru’s position as one of NatWest’s most critical hubs for technology and operations, complementing the bank’s established presence in Chennai and Gurugram.

A future-ready workspace

The new office is nearly three times the size of NatWest’s previous Bengaluru facility, spanning 370,000 square feet across 11 floors. It has been designed as a modern, sustainable, and inclusive workplace with an emphasis on employee wellbeing. The building is LEED-certified and is targeting gold-level certification, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to green and efficient operations.

Dedicated wellbeing spaces, flexible layouts, and collaboration areas are central to the design, supporting both innovation and employee health.

Bengaluru as a hub for innovation

The new site will play a key role in the development of engineering, data science, and AI/GenAI solutions. Notably, NatWest’s global Head of AI Platforms is based in Bengaluru, positioning the city as a nerve centre for the bank’s innovation agenda.

With the capacity to accommodate expanding teams, the office will enable NatWest to pursue new opportunities in digital transformation and operational efficiency while staying closer to its global customer base.
