Linedata Acquires AI Specialist NROAD

Linedata, a provider of technology and services for the asset management and credit industries, has acquired NROAD, a company specializing in AI-enabled financial data processing. NROAD operates out of Pune, India, and Boston, USA.

The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Linedata’s ability to manage unstructured and complex financial data through artificial intelligence. As financial institutions face increasing volumes of data, both companies will work together to deliver tools designed to improve operational efficiency and data analysis.

NROAD’s AI platform, CONVUS, and its domain-specific AI agents will be integrated into Linedata’s existing offerings. This combination is expected to support decision-making processes and compliance efforts within financial institutions.

The deal also gives Linedata a broader footprint in the U.S. market, where NROAD has an existing client base that includes banks, rating agencies, and payment processors. These clients will gain access to Linedata’s infrastructure and service network.

Executives from both companies have stated that the partnership is intended to accelerate the development of AI tools for the financial sector, particularly those capable of handling unstructured data.
