Infor, the industry cloud leader, announced the completion of its acquisitions of Albanero, a data migration and management specialist, and Acumen, a revenue growth management consultancy for consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. These strategic moves strengthen Infor's commitment to helping businesses unlock the power of industry-specific data to drive growth.
“Infor is laser-focused on empowering customers to leverage data within their industry-specific operations to achieve greater value,” said Infor CEO Kevin Samuelson. “The future of innovation hinges on data, and unlocking its true potential starts with a secure and industry-rich data foundation.”
Albanero: Building a Solid Data Foundation
Migrating to the cloud and maximizing the value of solutions requires robust data migration and management capabilities. Albanero, a longstanding partner since 2022, provides these critical functionalities to Infor customers.
Their established data mesh platform streamlines data harmonization, migration, and governance across Infor's CloudSuite solutions and various external sources. Integrating this platform into Infor OS, the industry cloud platform, will provide customers with an unparalleled consolidated view of their enterprise data.
“We are thrilled to join Infor,” said Bruce Douglas, Founder and CEO of Albanero. “This union combines our innovative data mesh capabilities with Infor's deep industry expertise, creating unmatched data management solutions that empower businesses to unlock the full potential of their data.”
Acumen: Empowering CPG Revenue Management
CPG brands rely on complex pricing strategies for promotions and rebates. Acumen offers specialized consulting and analytics services to optimize promotional investments for CPG manufacturers. This acquisition equips Infor with critical Trade Promotion Management (TPM) functionality for CPG companies.
Integrating Acumen into Infor CloudSuite for Food & Beverage and CloudSuite Fashion will establish a single source of truth for CPG customers. This will not only enhance industry-specific data volume but also empower the development of new technologies and capabilities.
“We are excited to join Infor and bring our CPG revenue management solutions and expertise to the Infor portfolio,” said Nick Ryan, Co-Founder of Acumen. “This will allow us to leverage Infor's technologies to enhance our platforms, accelerate time-to-market, and expand our reach.”
Combined Strength for Continued Success
Financial terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed. A total of 160 Albanero and Acumen employees, including founders Bruce Douglas, Manish Sharma, Nick Ryan, and Matt Wills, will join the Infor team.
With these acquisitions, Infor is poised to deliver a powerful combination of industry-specific data expertise, data migration and management capabilities, and revenue growth management solutions, empowering businesses to unlock the true potential of their data and achieve significant growth.
