Enterprise software provider Infor has announced the launch of a new suite of AI-based tools designed for specific industries, alongside enhancements to its process mining solutions and a new cloud migration initiative called Infor Leap.

The new offerings aim to help manufacturing, distribution, and service companies automate operational workflows and modernize legacy systems. Built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and using Amazon Bedrock for large language model access, the Infor Industry AI Agents are designed to support industry-specific roles and processes.

According to Infor, the agents can integrate with both Infor and non-Infor data systems to provide context-based recommendations for users such as project managers, buyers, or analysts. They are powered by a new Agentic Orchestrator that coordinates data, systems, and AI models with built-in governance and explainability features.

To support customers transitioning to the cloud, the company has also introduced Infor Leap, an initiative aimed at addressing common migration challenges such as time and budget overruns. The offer includes a fixed-fee pricing model and predefined implementation timelines.

Infor is also adding AI-driven features to its process mining platform. The updates are intended to automate process summarization, improve dashboard customization, and provide deeper insights into operational performance.

Some of Infor’s customers, including Gellert Global, State Electric Supply, and Xpress Boats, are currently testing or using the tools. Company executives say these deployments have helped improve operational visibility and reduce manual workloads, though the technologies remain in early stages of adoption.

Commenting on the developments, Infor CEO Kevin Samuelson said the company’s focus is on deploying AI with “purpose and precision” rather than generic use cases.

Industry analysts have noted that enterprise software vendors are increasingly embedding AI features into ERP systems to enhance decision-making and workflow automation.

Infor plans to discuss the updates further during a digital event on October 30, 2025.
