In a major cross-industry collaboration, SaaS giant Freshworks (NASDAQ: FRSH) has been announced as an Official Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team in a multi-year deal.
As part of the partnership, McLaren Racing has deployed Freshworks' IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, Freshservice, to streamline global IT operations and enhance efficiency across the team, especially during high-pressure, multi-location F1 race seasons.
The AI-powered platform is designed to simplify service management and reduce technical friction, enabling McLaren’s IT team to swiftly address service requests — ensuring the racing team stays focused on on-track performance.
Starting this weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix, Freshworks branding will be prominently displayed on McLaren’s F1 race cars and team gear for the remainder of the 2025 season and beyond.
Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, said: “Boosting our efficiencies off the track is a key factor in improving our performance on it. With industry-leading partners such as Freshworks, we’re able to do just that, and I’m delighted to welcome them to the team.”
Dennis Woodside, CEO of Freshworks, added: “We partner with McLaren Racing to optimize their IT operations, enhancing their critical support for winning performance. Our solutions are intuitive and AI-powered, designed to eliminate complexity and keep McLaren moving at top speed.”
This partnership marks another step in McLaren's commitment to using cutting-edge technology to gain competitive advantage both on and off the circuit.
