DIPA Appoints Industry Veteran Manoj Kumar Singh as Director General

Manoj Kumar Singh has been named the new Director General of the Digital Infrastructure Providers Association (DIPA). Singh brings extensive experience from Indus Towers and succeeds T.R. Dua, who is stepping down after 13 years of service.

The Digital Infrastructure Providers Association has announced the appointment of Manoj Kumar Singh as its new Director General, effective immediately. With a distinguished career service spanning over 16 years behind him, Singh will bring vast experience to this position.

He has previously held some chief leadership positions with Indus Towers, one of the largest tower companies globally. He was Chief Regulatory Officer & CSR, and CTO & Chief of Regulatory Affairs & Sustainability. His rich insight into the passive infrastructure industry and proven record make him a valuable asset in DIPA.

"I feel extremely proud to take over the position of Director General in DIPA," said Singh. "I believe DIPA will surely offer an industry collaborative environment, and contribute significantly in the building of a robust digital infrastructure for India."

Singh will take over from the current Director-General of TAIPA, T.R. Dua, who is relinquishing the charge on September 30, 2024, in view of his personal commitments. He was one of the key persons behind the birth of DIPA in 2010 and built it brick by brick into a strong voice for the fast-growing telecom infrastructure sector.

DIPA represents a wide range of industry giant telecom infrastructure providers, including American Towers, Indus Towers, and Summit Digitel. The association remains steadfast in its commitment to advocating for the industry, promoting best practices, and driving the development of world-class digital infrastructure in India.
