Capgemini announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Cloud4C, a managed services provider specialising in hybrid and sovereign cloud environments. The deal, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the coming months.
Founded in 2014, Cloud4C employs around 1,600 people and operates in 29 countries. The company provides platform-based services that combine AI-driven automation with industry-specific frameworks. Its offerings span consulting, stack migration, hybrid cloud solutions for sovereignty, and managed services that cover infrastructure through to application-level operations. It also provides value-added services such as disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and compliance with industry and sovereign regulations.
Cloud4C is a global premium partner for SAP’s RISE with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud program and has partnerships with major technology vendors and hyperscalers. Capgemini said the acquisition would strengthen its position in the cloud managed services market and accelerate its leadership in SAP services, combining Cloud4C’s capabilities with its own long-standing partnership with SAP.
Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini, described Cloud4C as “a natural fit” given its expertise and automation-first approach. “This acquisition will enable the Group to champion AI-powered cloud automation platforms, coupled with scalable industry-specific solutions that we know our clients want and need across the world,” he said.
Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Chairman and Managing Director of Cloud4C, called the deal an opportunity to scale the company’s offerings globally. “From the beginning, our goal was to build a process-driven, highly automated cloud services platform focused on trust and security. Joining Capgemini represents the next chapter for us, enabling faster growth and wider reach,” he said.
Capgemini expects the acquisition to create cross-selling opportunities with existing clients, while also extending its expertise to Cloud4C’s customer base. The company also plans to leverage Cloud4C’s hyper-automated operations to advance its generative AI solutions in cloud management.
If approved, Cloud4C will be integrated into Capgemini’s global cloud and engineering operations, reinforcing its focus on digital transformation, automation, and scalable cloud services.
