New products, geographic expansion and adding new customers was the strategy
which helped the company grow by over 50%. One of the major achievements during
2004-05 was the breakthrough in hardware export to the Japanese market. NeST
exported fiber optic broadband components for the FTTH market in Japan to cover
200,000 homes-valued at about $5 mn. NeST also saw success in developing
software products targeted at the aviation sector for aircraft safety as well as
operational efficiency-Fli-SAFE and Fli-SAVE.
