NESAC recruitment 2020 is currently underway for 21 research vacancies, for which engineers and postgraduates are eligible to apply. Of the21 vacancies, 12 are for Research Scientists and 9 are for Junior Research Fellowships. Eligible candidates will receive a salary of up to Rs 56,100 for Research Scientist, and Rs 31,000 for Junior Research Fellow.
Who can Apply for NESAC Recruitment 2020?
According to the official notification issued on the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) website, for the 12 Research Scientist vacancies, candidates with the following qualification can apply: ME or MTech in Electronics and Communication and related fields, MTech in Geology, Applied Geology, or Geophysics, ME or MTech in Remote Sensing, Geo-informatics or equivalent, MTech in Physics, Botany, Environmental Science or equivalent, ME or MTech in Civil Engineering, ME or MTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent, and related fields.

For the 9 Junior Research Fellow vacancies, candidates with a postgraduate degree (MSc or MTech) in Agriculture, Botany, Environment Sciences, Forestry, Geography, Geology, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing & GIS, Ecology & Environmental Science, Life Science, Zoology, MTech in Civil Engineering, and related fields can apply.

How to Apply for NESAC Recruitment 2020?
Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on the official NESAC website, on the online registration link that has been provided. The last date for submission of online application forms is 23 March 2020 and the closing time will be 4 pm IST. After registration, a print out of the application summary needs to be taken and the same needs to be brought along with passport size photograph and documents supporting the data furnished in the application at the time of Interview.
