Japan-based NEC and HCL Technologies have inaugurated their new facility, Logix
Techno Park, at Noida in India to provide a single window view to the overall
NEC-HCL operations in high-end offshore led software engineering solutions in
network and security.
The Techno Park is spread over an area of
20,000 sq ft, with an investment of $5 mn. NEC and HCL had announced this first
major partnership in June. Toshihiko Takahashi, president, NEC System
Technologies, said the park would develop embedded software, hardware design,
research and development, high performance computing and mobile technology.
“This is our first step in the direction of a long and fruitful relationship
and we are confident that HCL will have a strong platform to strengthen its
global presence and have wider access to Japan's IT market,” Vineet Nayar,
president HCL said.
