NCERT recruitment 2020 is currently underway for 266 academic vacancies of professor, associate professor, and assistant professor for which candidates with a postgraduate degree and certain additional qualifications can apply. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an apex organization for educational research, teacher training and development of curriculum and instructional material in school education. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 1,44,200 based on the qualification.
Who can Apply for NCERT Recruitment 2020?
According to the official notification, there are a total of 266 vacancies of which 39 are professor vacancies wherein selected candidates will be eligible for an entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200; 83 are for are associate professor vacancies wherein selected candidates will be eligible for an entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400; and 144 are assistant professor vacancies wherein selected candidates will be eligible for an entry pay of Rs. 57,700.
The vacancies are available in various subjects such as physics, mathematics, zoology, physics, mathematics, chemistry, botany, commerce, economics, political science, computer science or software development, Entrepreneurship Management, bioscience, biotechnology, health science, pharmacy, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electronics, business management and so on.
The above-mentioned posts are transferable amongst the constituent units of the Council located in Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysore and Shillong and New Delhi, says the notification. The minimum qualification required would be a postgraduate degree with MA or MEd. For professor vacancies, a PhD would also be preferred.
How to Apply for NCERT Recruitment 2020?
Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on the official NCERT website before 3 August 2020 5 pm IST. An online application fee of Rs 1000 needs to be paid; however, there is no application fee for SC, ST, PWD, and women.
