NASSCOM has invited students, professionals and anybody interested to take an online course on Big Data Foundation for free. The course by Digital Vidya, a NASSCOM FutureSkills ecosystem partner, which would otherwise cost Rs 5000 will be offered for free until a limited period of time. Upon successfully completing the course, learners would be offered two certifications from FutureSkills and Digital Vidya.
“We’re delighted to roll-out the much-awaited Big Data Foundation course by Digital Vidya at no cost for all learners. The course valued at INR 5000 is exclusively being made available at no cost for a limited time period,” tweeted NASSCOM FutureSkills.

Machine learning, data science and big data skills are the most in-demand pre-requisites for several jobs in the IT industry at present. What the NASSCOM and Digital Vidya’s Online Course on Big Data Foundation Offers?
The course aims at enabling learners with a basic knowledge of programming and data sequences to explore the fundamentals of big data analytics. The course strengthens the base of big data analytics, using which students can upskill themselves for big data specific job roles. The self-paced courses will be of 55 hours duration of which 35 hours are of theory and 20 hours are practical. Students will also be given 32 hours of assignment, 3 projects and 9 tools will be introduced.
